Melifera Records is a label and event organisation. We are the creators of the La Vallée Electrique festival and many other events. Created in 2014, we have developed from an event organisation into a well-rounded platform dedicated to electronic music culture. We have also been involved in screening short films since 2014 with the Fugitif festival.

Through our podcast series and EP releases, our mission is to represent the modern and emerging electronic scene as a myriad of interconnected singularities. We focus on deep, dub techno and breakbeat, with a determination to bring out the textured and emotional beauty of techno to a wider audience. The Melifera team recently created Polën as an extension focused on ambient and downtempo, a laboratory for collective work and sonic emotion.

Today, the growing Melifera team brings together numerous artists, artisans, and enthusiasts. While most are based in Lyon and Marseille, some of our ‘bees’ are also located internationally.
